Are you looking for an exciting new career or new challenge?

Do you possess the qualities of a leader and are you passionate about driving forward change in a people-centred environment?

Managers in Partnership (MiP), the UK’s trade union organisation for senior managers of health and care, is seeking applicants for a new role supporting our chief executive and leading our team of national officers, as the organisation embarks on an exciting new phase of growth.

The new Head of Operations post is a key development and part of our forward planning. You will be responsible for the delivery of our complex portfolio of casework, representation and organising activity in the UK’s largest and most politicised public employer – the NHS – and beyond.

You will be a natural leader, tasked with supporting our team of National Officers, and developing new systems for enhanced professional practice, recruitment and organising.

Your effectiveness in this role will enable our chief executive to focus on creating a higher public profile for MiP, so he can better represent members in the public debate on the role and value of managers in public service.

You will be an established operational manager, ideally with experience in the public sector, trade unions or not for profit organisations. You will have a track record of leading teams through change, while ensuring excellence in day-to-day delivery. You will be confident in execution and known for your ability to engage and influence others.

If you want to make a difference for senior managers running critical public services, then we would love to hear from you.
