Celebrating #HeartUnions Week with the FDA

There are a wealth of resources and information on the TUC webpage for reps and members to use to plan events and activities within their own workplaces and branches. We encourage you all to speak to your colleagues about the work the FDA does and to share with them the benefits joining a union. By joining us they will be standing alongside more than 22,000 members who believe that public services – and the people who deliver them – matter.
Last year saw the largest number of new members joining the FDA in its history, with overall membership growing by nearly 15% – cementing its position as the fastest growing union in the UK. To celebrate this growth we have spoken to a number of recent joiners about what attracted them to the FDA and why they joined.
The FDA will be celebrating the week by running webinars and sessions from FDA Learn that focus on the good work we all do as a union, and also as a part of a wider movement.
You can find out more about and register for the FDALearn webinars, ‘Documenting and delivering defensible decision making’ and ‘Project management primer’, here.
