“I am really excited about FDA On and the opportunities it brings to grow our union. All unions constantly seek to turn non-members into members and turn members into activists – this network aims to do just that. FDA On is a two-way channel which will allow us to talk directly to our reps and activists and support them with the resources and ideas they need. We want to bring all the issues that matter to our members under one network, to improve collaboration and affect real change.”

Heart Unions Week 2025
Recruit a colleague this Heart Unions Week. The most common reason people give for not joining a union is that they have never been asked. So, this February ask your colleagues if they are in a union and tell them about the benefits of being an FDA member.
We will be hosting stalls and events all over the UK during Heart Unions Week 2025. #HeartUnions week focuses on the good work that unions do and raises the profile of unions fighting for tangible change for workers and communities. It’s the perfect time to ask a colleague, friend or family member to join a union.
If you would like to organise an event or stall in your workplace this year, we can help. Contact us on organiser@fda.org.uk and we will send you a box of resources in the post.
