FDA rules
Our rules act as the union’s constitution
The FDA’s rules define the union’s objectives and membership, as well laying out the organisation’s structure and governance. The rules have been in place since our founding in 1919 but have been updated over time, through the democratic process, to reflect the modern civil service and the needs of our members.
The rules are in place to ensure the union’s actions are transparent, accountable, and made in the interests of our common goals.
