Report launch: The future of office work in the civil service
Join us on Tuesday 25 February
Join us, in person and online, for the launch of the FDA’s latest report ‘The future of office work in the civil service’. This report is based on the largest ever survey of FDA members with more than 7,000 respondents sharing their views on their employer’s approach to office working.
The launch will be a hybrid event, with members able to join us both in person at FDA headquarters, 93-95 Borough High Street, SE1 1NL, and online via Microsoft Teams. There are places available for members to join us in the room for the discussion and drinks reception.
Drawing from our survey results, this new report calls for a pragmatic, evidence-based, and member-led approach to hybrid working policies.
The report also discusses what purposeful, collaborative, and effective office work looks like across the UK civil service and devolved governments as well as the private sector.
The event will include a panel discussion featuring:
- Peter Cheese, CEO of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the professional body for HR and people development
- Sufyan Ahmed, FDA Research Intern and principal author of report
- Dave Penman, FDA General Secretary
There will also be a Q&A session, and members attending both remotely and in person will be able to ask questions.
For those attending in person, the launch will be followed by a drinks reception and refreshments, providing an opportunity to network with other civil servants.
