Who is the FDA for?

FDA membership is available to staff in all government departments, agencies and arms-length bodies, from grades HEO to SCS.

The FDA is only recognised union for those on the Civil Service Fast Stream scheme, or equivalent training schemes. We represent those working for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) at any grade.

We charge monthly subscriptions on a sliding scale, based on your salary and your grade. We collect subscriptions one month in arrears.
