Following confirmation from the Government that it will not be progressing a plan to introduce a Land Registry service delivery company, FDA Assistant General Secretary Naomi Cooke said:
“While the FDA supports this position, we now call on the Government to let Land Registry staff concentrate on delivering high-quality services to the public, rather than being under the constant threat of reorganisation.
The FDA now calls on all parties to commit to maintaining the Land Registry as a unified civil service organisation, providing the stability it badly needs.”
