Left to Right - David Chrimes seconding motions on 'No Confidence in Government's disability standards' and 'Disabled People in work' at conference.
This year's conference took place on 19 - 20 May in Congress House, London. It was attended by FDA member delegate David Chrimes, Equality and Diversity Officer Zohra Francis and outgoing Equality and Diversity Officer Roland Zollner.
The FDA's motion, entitled 'Save the Human Rights Act', was moved by David Chrimes and passed unanimously by conference. The FDA also seconded motions put forward by PCS, Community and Prospect unions.
Overall, the two day conference was lively, interesting and instructive.
