The FDA has developed - in partnership with the TUC - a four-day course for health and safety representatives. The course concentrates on how to resolve health and safety issues, facility time, legislation, inspections, risk assessments and how to use health and safety as an organising tool to recruit new members.
The four-day course will be delivered in two, two-day parts on:
- Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 January 2016; and
- Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 February 2016.
Both training sessions will take place at FDA head office, 8 Leake Street, London SE1 7NN. If you would like to attend, please email Elelta Araya at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are interested in becoming a health and safety rep, or would just like further information, please contact Jawad Raza - the FDA's national officer responsible for the area of health and safety - at email@example.com.
